The aim of this work is to provide culturally appropriate safer pregnancy information for communities of refugee and migrant backgrounds in Australia.
Resources have been co-designed with communities and healthcare professionals for Arabic, Dari, Dinka and Karen speaking communities.
These resources are available in the four languages for women and their families to either watch, listen to, or read.
Summary video with the key information and steps women should take, with the support of their families and healthcare team.
Interactive digital booklet that enables women and families to listen to the important information at their own pace, with images to support health information.
Written booklet (PDF) with all the information that women and families need to support them have a safer pregnancy and reduce the chance of stillbirth.*

These resources have been developed by the Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth (Stillbirth CRE) in partnership with Stronger Futures CRE at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) and Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health (MCWH).
